"The mountain got its name from a tale that the herb of eternal youth and picturesque scenery made a hermit eternally young. Located on the southeastern part of Geoje island, this mountain touches Gucheon, Buchun, and Hakdong in Dongbu-myeon.

It is 565m high above sea level and linked to Mt. Garasan(585m), the highest mountain in Geoje.
Autumn leaves create magnificent scenery. Inhabited by many rare animals and plants including the fairy pitt, a very rare bird species, the mountain is considered mysterious. The strange rocks seen from Hakdong Pebble Beach look wonderful and the view of archipelago seen from the summit is magnificent.

Hiking trails: Taking the hiking trail starting from the Natural Forest of Recreation is the most convenient. When the mountain is ablaze with autumn leaves, it is wonderful to take the trail starting at the back of Hyeyangsa(temple) in Buchun, Dongbu-myeon."
